DAY 17 with Teresa Ann:
IN THE MIDST
Blurs and hazes of effervescent light. Door opened with the ushering of hospitality. Various people entering the room with awe, walls drenched in praise and prayer. In the natural it was seeing candles lit; sweet, delightful aromas of cinnamon, sugar and complimenting spices; evidence of a seeming dance with a crescendo of the familiar presence of GOD. Anointing revealing the crushing; evidence within the rare oils on display.
Illustrating with words of seeming paintbrushes; revealing a picture of when grace seems to show up in the midst of the unfamiliar; the scary unknowns causing us to be drawn to the ONE Who desires to be known. Beckoning us into the intimate places of the deep that calls to deep. A place of deep that gives hope in the midst of the dark.
Faith is truly seen when fear comes knocking.
Grace is revealed in the midst of weariness.
Mercy revealed in the midst of deserved destruction.
Love experienced in the midst of hate.
Kindness displayed with a scepter of authority in the midst of unkindness.
This is KINGDOM of GOD coming into the earth through each of us. Our stories that seem like genres of wasted moments; they are testimonies waiting to be rewritten by the Redeeming power of GOD.
REFLECTION OF THE WORD WITH HOLY SPIRIT:
Psalm 42; Matthew 6:5-18; Matthew 8; Luke 6:27-38
LET’S TALK:
- Today, the Holy Spirit invited me to the deep and I took HIS hand and followed HIM in awe.
- As HE invites you, what do you see now with such value in HIM, that you may have seen as wasted?
- Perhaps you asked, “Why God?” when the real question to be asked is, “What can I learn about you in the midst of this or that?”
- Did you ask HIM? What did HE show you? Can you share?
