DAY 22 with Teresa Ann:
RADIANT
“Those who look to GOD will be radiant with JOY; their faces never covered in shame.” – Psalm 34:5
Are we the “those”?
We know we are looking to GOD when we can’t help but talk about what HE has already done. This “already done knowing” is the realization that we are catching up to that moment of promise in HIM within our boundaries of time and space.
Think about this glorious promise…THOSE who look to GOD without doubt, they WILL BE RADIANT WITH JOY; their faces never covered in shame.
There’s no shame in HIM. None. Zilch. Zero. Do you understand this? If your face is covered in shame; then all you need to realize is that your gaze is on what has been done to you, or what you’ve done to someone else or even what the enemy has done; versus what GOD has done.
What GOD has done will feel like HE is in the process of doing it. Yet to realize HE truly has gone before us within another dimension; HE has already accomplished and overcome while we are still “waiting” for HIS come through power. It is accomplished in HIM and now it is our agreement with HIM of trust that we can truly rejoice as though we have already received it. This is faith. Faith knows it’s done; and we need hope which is the steadfast, immovable anchor in Christ that knows it’s already finished.
This is what causes the world to look to us in awe. Our response to the Father in the midst is what becomes as an arrow that points others back to the Father.
When we talk about what the enemy is doing; guess where we just pointed them to? We’ve pointed ourselves and others back to the enemy and his works. That was never our place…we get to simply recognize the works of the enemy, YET we speak truth to it as JESUS did with the simple yet powerful words, “IT IS WRITTEN…” In this, it reminds me of when we declare the promise in GOD, we cannot be swayed or succumb to the lies. When we don’t know what is ours in Christ, we will constantly be moved; tossed about like the waves of the sea.
As we are the THOSE who look to HIM, we can’t help but we radiant with JOY.
REFLECTION OF THE WORD WITH HOLY SPIRIT:
Psalm 34:5; Hebrews 11:1; Psalm 100
LET’S TALK:
Looking to HIM is intimacy and it can look like this:
- Praising HIM and thanking HIM for all HE has done
- Digging into HIS WORD and finding out our living inheritance in HIM
- Journaling and leaving the imprints on paper of HIS faithfulness
In what areas of your life can you look to HIM and see HIM for who HE really is?
Have you talked about what the enemy is doing more so than who GOD is?
If you’re using your boldness in Christ to “face fear”; this is your awakening to now face GOD in the middle of the fear! Remember, those who LOOK TO GOD are radiant with joy…
If you feel condemnation, there’s no reason to. You and I are being shown that the power of our testimony is so crucially important. We now see how when we talk about all that the enemy is doing, we are actually using the power of testifying to point others to the darkness. So guess what? We just turn it around, we “FLIP IT” and it’s our notifier that we now get to testify of GOD’s glorious power in the midst. How did you just “FLIP IT” in your own situation to see GOD?
Such a good reminder to always, ALWAYS keep my eyes on Jesus! Even something as “small” as talking about what the enemy is doing. he truly does not deserve even an ounce of our attention!
I’m reminded of the verse that perfect love CASTS OUT fear – when my gaze is on My Father, I’m experiencing perfect love and that fear that I was just facing melts away under His gaze! Nothing is impossible for me when I’m partnered with Him!!
(Lol, I’m preaching myself happy! Joyful!! Radiant with joy!!)
ALL for JESUS!
Hahaaha! I love this! YES!!!! Come on!!! Lori! Thank you for taking the time to leave your life giving comment!!! Ahhhhhh!!
