COLLISION
When the gifts of GOD and the fruit or evidence of Who He is collide with one another! The power that is seen is head turning. It makes a glorious spectacle.
Let’s think about this. So often we take tests to see what gifts “we have”. Yet it isn’t about we have, but what we get to mature into as the gift is complete. Let’s truly think about this. We have gifts that are innately within us. It’s part of our personality trait and yet we can actually reveal more than just what was placed within us by God’s Spirit.
First we need to understand that the gifts of GOD are given to us without repentance. People walk in HIS gifts but don’t know HIM. For instance there are people who are so generous; or those who are administratively organized; others who are great encouragers; while others just have a natural ability to open up their home to others. Yet all the while there is no relationship or fellowship with GOD.
Often times people who reveal the gifts within them, what was meant to point to GOD, instead points to themselves or what they do so well. However, what if we realized that we could operate in the gift that lasts forever…the greatest gift, LOVE. From the place of LOVE is where every gift flows from within us by the power of Holy Spirit. There’s this place of going so deep with HIM that the collision of HIS gifts and HIS love come together and make a display that cause people to be pointed back to the Father, all the while in awe.
I’ll give you an example. There are those who flow in the prophetic gifting, yet if there’s no intimacy with GOD, often times a critical spirit is seen. It’s an “I told you so” demeanor – rooted in pride. So now the prophetic word along with this perverted discernment is twisted with judgement. It’s a discerning to find fault; yet when it’s coupled with GOD’s love; the intertwining of God’s love and the gift is able to see into the unseen. It discerns to find the gold and the treasure of GOD within them. Suddenly what is seen is not the struggle; but the overcoming power of GOD to annihilate the struggle. You begin to prophesy who that person was meant to be in Christ. The evidence of GOD’s love and the gift now reveals what GOD truly intended and causes us to declare that GOD has the last word over a particular person’s life.
Perhaps someone cursed you. You heard it with your own ears and now you are tempted to partner with fear when suddenly you realize, when intimate with GOD, HE causes you to see it with JOY. He causes you to walk in the ability to “flip it” and declare the promises of GOD. So the curse is the reminder to declare the promise of GOD’s power! Someone curses you with death…now you laugh and say, “Thank you for the reminder that with long life GOD satisfies me and from generation to generation we will know the abundant life giving GOD and declare HIS goodness all our days.” It’s this place of relationship and fellowship with GOD; being so close to HIM that you can feel HIS life giving breath upon your lips and yet you desire to get even closer.
The key is intimacy. Intertwined with GOD that you don’t want to do anything outside of HIM and HIS love.

This is such a great episode. I was literally embroidering my “See yourself as I see you” pillow as i heard you say towards the end, “Ask Holy Spirit how he sees you.” For me I have found that my intimacy with Jesus often begins with me asking him this question as well as variations such as “How do you see a particular situation.” Not only has this exetcise helped me become more intimate with Jesus, it has also helped shaped and solidify my perspective of who I really am as a child of God, a daughter of the King.
Amen! I love how you didn’t turn inward but you turned toward HIM in that!!! Seeking His kingdom and His righteousness!!! Love that Celina!!!
