Day 6 with Teresa Ann:
Pondering Your Answers
As I read your comments on the past devotionals, I just sat in awe of GOD. I marvel at how each of us have unique assignments that the LORD has given to us specifically. With each assignment come different examples of how to respond to HIM instead of reacting to the circumstances at hand.
It doesn’t mean we don’t react initially; yet we are quicker to “repent”. This repentance is an action of turning “forward” to the Father. We are quickly reminded of WHO HE IS, WHAT HE HAS DONE and the MERCY that is constantly lavished upon us, and in that is the quickening, the reminder to quickly turn to the Father and say, “Holy Spirit! Thank you for your great help to do it Your way.”
On yesterday’s post, the comments from a few of the ladies were powerful reminders of GOD’s majesty. Each comment grabbed my heart and yet in particular I wanted to share as it reminded me of the greatness of our GOD. It was an answer that stirred me to remember not to allow my mind to confine my belief in GOD because of what I haven’t seen what HE has promised.
It reminded me to not miss seeing HIM in the midst of the waiting. It had me ponder on the many miracles that I don’t want to miss because I have stopped expecting HIM to move. Those moments I have prayed for breakthrough; but did I notice the miracle in that situation while I waited? The miracle of even my heart changing? Perhaps even seeing a small step of progress? I want to begin “GRABBING” those moments with awe and saying, “YES LORD! I even see you in that!”
Declaring HIS divine order over our families and situations; no matter if it looks worse the more we pray; we declare it even more as though we can see them BY FAITH. Even seeing that if we are praying for people to turn to GOD, and it seems worse, that we declare they are drawing closer to the finish line of the old ways where Jesus awaits to start their new beginning with them. He is the Fulfiller of the Promises. He is in the realm of eternity; where time and space are like seconds in comparison to our world of time and space that are drawn out in years.
REFLECTION WITH HOLY SPIRIT:
II Peter 3:8-9; Isaiah 55:8-9; Isaiah 40:28; Job 26:14; Psalm 147:5; Psalm 8; Luke 12:7
I strongly encourage you to have a journal and write your thoughts down. Make sure you even time and date what you wrote so when you look back, you will be in awe, yet again of our GOD (It’s the principle of Habakkuk 2:2).
After you ask the Holy Spirit for insight, have you read II Peter 3:8-9 yet? Wow!
After reading today’s devotional, and the scriptures that are listed, how do you see GOD now?
Are there scriptures that were not listed that you would like to share?
If so, share what GOD revealed to you with that particular scripture?
