Sitting here on my comfy love seat, reclining back with the computer on my lap as my fingers dance upon the keys of the keyboard. While my fingers dictate my thoughts, memories flood my heart as I trace back to the beginning of this year…join me, won’t you?
I had the privilege of interviewing Carrie Robaina with “She Walks In Truth” Podcast.
We were flown out to Michigan where I got to see my amazing, long time “Lucy Sister” friends and even got to record a brief conversation between myself and my friends Grace and Jodie!
I awakened to the deeper treasures of the Kingdom of God which helped me to see and then share how we can see mission fields in the midst of battle fields.
So many great things happened! From Tristin and I getting to emcee at the “beLydia Open Hearts Conference” with special guest speaker, Jordan Lee Dooley along with all the amazing young women who came to be a part…an incredible two days of opening our hearts to the ONE who pursues our hearts to invite us to pursue HIM, our amazing GOD!
Later the next week I was invited to be a part of sharing my testimony at Exhilaration Tour, hosted by Carine, the founder of Exhilaration! While at this incredible event I was able to meet so many incredible women from Zion Christian Church and was reunited face to face with my long time friend of 30 years, Celina with Pearls In Bloom! The moment we reunited, we embraced and cried as we hadn’t seen one another since 1998, before we were living for the Lord! I will remember that moment like it was “right now”…what a special moment!
I also got to do a special 3 part interview with special guest, Cara Masae who has a testimony that reveals the redeeming power of GOD in the midst of waywardness as God’s goodness brought to her a place of repentance!
What also happened this special month is the first planning meetings of launching “Godly Chit Chat” in Wichita, Kansas with Celina and Carrie!
We also launched Let’s Talk with Teresa Ann podcast! Wow!
It’s amazing how so much happened in April as I also met up with a special lady named Alexis! We have an awesome story of how we met…our story started through her famous cookies as she owns, “Sweet Frosted Cookies” out of Ft. Worth, Texas. Below is an interview I got to do with her in July:
I had one of the most exciting moments for “Let’s Talk” as I got to have a special interview with Kristin Schell with “The Turquoise Table”. To hear Kristin’s perspective on life in Christ was so profound and yet incredibly simple!
Celina with Pearls In Bloom, Carrie with She Walks In Truth and myself had the opportunity of launching “Godly Chit Chat’s” first 6 week online Bible Study via Facebook. It was incredible what GOD showed Celina as she utilized Carrie’s podcast and my Let’s Talk videos and weaved them into the study plan. It was amazing to see all that unfolded as well as all those who participated from all around the country! Amazing GOD, yet again in awe just thinking of those moments!
I had the privilege of interviewing via online, Maddy Sallaz who has an amazing testimony of how GOD has revealed purpose and destiny within her to share with her generation! We met through Instagram as we have a mutual friend via social media…the connections that can be made via technology is pretty awesome to say the least!
I also had that special interview with Alexis, the founder of Sweet Frosted Cookies!
This was a special month as my daughter Tristin and I launched our mother daughter podcast, “OH…Teresa and Tristin Podcast“! We love this podcast as every episode is about shifting perspective on how to see beyond even the positive, but seeing from Kingdom of God perspective!
AND…the last day of the month, our special addition to the family was born…our grandson, Nicholas Ray was born August 31st!
Special interview with Elyse Snipes, who is from Los Angeles; an incredibly kind, gifted woman who is an out of the box counselor and life coach! She happened to be a guest speaker with Rachel Hollis and the couples conference, RISE Together here in Austin…so I stepped out of my comfort zone, reached out to her via direct message on Instagram to invite her to be a guest on my show and well, yes indeed, she said, “YES!” It was an awesome teaching moment to actually heed, “Ask and you shall receive.” I learned so much from even this as I learned that so often we don’t ask because of the fear of rejection…but what if we began to err on the side of asking with expectation? “What if they say, “Yes”?!”
Having the opportunity to be a guest speaker with National Safe Haven Alliance was such an honor. In the midst of attending, I also had the honor of meeting incredible leaders throughout our country who are advocating for helpless infants to go from abandonment to adoption.
In October, Celina, Carrie and I also launched a dream…”Godly Chit Chat”! It was something Celina and I discussed way back in 2009 and to see it unfold almost a decade later is nothing short of WOW!
To get to be a part of Godly Chit Chat’s first gathering as a small group event with this awe of our GINORMOUS GOD! To see the women wanting more of HIM was what it was all about! Gathering the ladies together to show how when we begin to talk to GOD and go deep with HIM, as our perspective shifts in HIM, then in turn by default our conversation shifts!
I am still in awe as I can’t believe I got to be a part of The Adamo Group‘s 2nd Annual Soiree. Getting to witness the heart of GOD through Carrissa Bradford was nothing short of amazing! The beautiful people of Bakersfield, California were so willing to want to be a part of the fight against human trafficking. To also meet Doug with Magdalene Hope was such an honor!
Here’s a testimony of how The Adamo Group was conceived and birthed…
As I type even in this moment, I’m in absolute, crazy awe! Wow GOD! This was such a fun year to say the least…so this month was one of the most memorable as Tristin and I were both invited to speak at Zion Christian Church in Troy, Michigan. It was such an awesome evening as it was a Ladies Christmas Mingle! Over 200 ladies arrived and to see over 30 vendors, creative in their own right was so awesome…even one of my dear friends Tracey came and supported many of the vendors as well! I still remember the moment Tristin and I waited in the green room before we came out to speak and mingle, and while we waited, Holy Spirit bid us to worship HIM…it was a night I will not forget the awareness of HIS powerful presence! Meeting so many incredible women who were reminded they were daughters who have a loving Father GOD was such a sweet moment I pray I remember for the rest of my life!
And here we are…approaching the end of 2018 going into 2019…God bless each of you and keep you in all your ways…may every day into the next year be another moment in which you go deeper into the heart of the Father! Thank you for joining me on memory lane and looking forward to the days to come…remember to be considerate in all you do, for the Lord is coming soon (Philippians 4:5).
