Dying to self.
It sounds scary. It is scary to the self nature.
How do you know when you’ve died to self In your moments of the day?
⁃ Looking to Jesus not just your example; but going within where the Holy Spirit dwells and saying, “Okay. Here I am Lord. Thank You for your anointing. Which is on and within me to BIND up the broken-hearted.
⁃ Broken-hearted; those who mourn; but not only that; it’s especially those who don’t come in the form of wanting to receive comfort and it manifests with rude tendencies; mean natured; rude; selfish; prideful
⁃ When dying to self you now see that moment as an opportunity to pray FOR Them not as a foe; but as a fellow child of God who desperately needs to be rescued.
⁃ Seeing them as simply yet tragically being “trafficked” by the past hurt and shame.
– If you knew they were trafficked – and it was right in front of you, would you call the authorities? Of course right? That’s when we call on The authority of Christ to set them free and for the angels to be dispatched on God’s command and on their behalf!
Here’s what anointing doesn’t do:
⁃ Believing that you need to “be careful” who prays over you for you don’t know what’s on them. Hold on!! That isn’t the point; it’s about the One living in you that wants to touch them!
⁃ If you believe that anyone who touches you with curse words could be imparting something evil; your belief is a form of receiving and that’s what activates it or not. The power of belief; good or bad. It’s not evil itself; it’s the not knowing you have the authority in Christ that gives you power to lean in even more to the awareness of Who is FOR YOU and for them!
