Normally I wouldn’t post this, however after prayer, I know it is needed in this time. I also believe it will be a confirmation to some.
I have learned many things, and one of those things is that
We can have self control in not being led by fear;
but we can’t control others who are led by it.
We get to remain steadfast in God’s peace.
If you were having to stay in your home for a length of just a few days, do you have enough food and water for you and your family? I often think of the parable of the ten virgins as recorded in Matthew 25; five were prepared while five weren’t.
The extra basic needs you’ll want to have at any given time…not just because of a Coronavirus…but it’s just wise to be prepared, just in case vendors are not restocking the distribution centers shelves. It could be caused by plant closures, transporting issues, natural disasters, shortages, shut down neighborhoods, etc.
Out of many things I’ve learned from a very wise person is to be moved by wisdom and rooted in love. For this purpose it is so we can help and prepare others spiritually and physically in the midst of trouble, looking to Jesus who has overcome the world, while living in this world.
It is recorded once in the Bible that Jesus said, “Take nothing with you and you will be provided for.” While there’s another time where it is recorded in Luke 22, that He said, “But now,” he said, “take your money and a traveler’s bag. And if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one! For the time has come for this prophecy about me to be fulfilled: ‘He was counted among the rebels.’ Yes, everything written about me by the prophets will come true.”
Having a relationship with GOD, who knows all things is who we must listen to and allow to have the last word in the midst.
So here is a list idea for those who are led to do something but just need practical ideas.
